Spring is a powerful time to engage with the parts of yourself that need to be reborn. As flowers bloom, many of us find ourselves breaking out of stagnation and ushering in a newfound sense of growth and opportunity. The following rituals are designed to help you get more aligned with the power of this season. AS NEW LIFE SPRINGS FORTH, I ENCOURAGE YOU TO TAKE THE TIME TO EVALUATE THE PARTS OF YOUR LIFE THAT NEED A FRESHER OUTLOOK. 1. Give yourself a naming ceremonyIn many cultures, naming ceremonies are powerful rituals where newborns (or older infants) are assigned carefully picked names. usually these name have positive and prophetic meanings and serve as a guiding post for the type of life a child is intended to live or THE TYPE OF character traits the child IS ASSUMED TO POSSESS. For those of you who have names that you feel do not grasp the full scope and complexity of who you are - i encourage you to take the time to participate in a naming ceremony. Most of us never had the opportunity to choose our names, so this is an optimal time for you to reclaim your agency and answer to a name that fits you comfortably.
AFTER YOU HAVE SELECTED YOUR NAME CREATE A REBIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR YOURSELF WRITE YOUR NEW NAME WHERE YOU ARE FROM & YOUR DATE OF REBIRTH LIST YOURSELF AS THE GUARDIAN AND PROTECTOR. LIST WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM THIS WORLD LIST WHAT YOU ARE HERE TO SHARE WITH THE WORLD KEEP THIS CERTIFICATE CLOSE (IN YOUR WALLET) AND REFER TO IT WHEN YOU NEED A REMINDER OF HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME IN YOUR JOURNEY. 2. Experiment with flower essencesFlower essences are liquid extracts that contain the vibrational essence of FLOWERS. FLOWER ESSENCES ARE USED TO TARGET YOUR EMOTIONS AND CAN TARGET VARIOUS FEELINGS THAT ARE STORED WITHIN YOUR BODY. consider incorporating flower essences into your diet to enjoy the spiritual & eMOTIONAL benefits of flower medicine. 3. Embrace the late bloomer from withinTake a walk in the park (or anywhere around flowers and plants) & notice how some flowers bloom before others. there is nothing wrong with being a bud OR BLOOMING AT A SLOWER PACE THEN OTHERS. embrace the parts of you that feel "delayed" SINCE YOUR GROWTH HAS ITS OWN SENSE OF DIVINE TIMING. 4. spring cleaningMake room for the new by getting rid of what no longer serves you. what remains after the debris is swept away? focus on what remains SO YOU CAN NURTURE IT AND WATCH it grow 5. eat plant powered medicineIn honor of spring, eat microgreens, sprouts. seeds and edible flowers. these foods may seem like small garnishes but they pack a mighty punch and are filled with nutrients. throw them into your smoothie or salad alongside seasonal fruits and veggies. 6. spring breakTake a break from social media for a period of time. see how it clears your mind & allows for you to connect with others on a much deeper level. focus less on likes & follows and more on doing authentic face to face activities with the people you truly love.
